Ballet Etudes is proud to be the premier pre-professional ballet company in the East Valley, providing serious young dancers with an experience that goes far beyond the classroom.

Founded in 1986, Ballet Etudes was created to give young dancers something special: the opportunity to experience the discipline, artistry and exhilaration of performing ballet at the highest level possible for their age.

Company members have the opportunity to perform full-length ballets and other productions, gaining the kind of stage experience that can't be replicated in a classroom. From beloved classics like The Nutcracker to contemporary works, a Ballet Etudes performance is the culmination of hundreds of hours of training, rehearsal and dedication.

For 40 years, Ballet Etudes has nurtured dancers whose talent has carried them to some of the world's most celebrated stages and training institutions. Alumni have gone on to perform with the American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet, and have trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. Their achievements reflect Ballet Etudes' enduring commitment to artistic excellence and exceptional pre-professional training.
