Here are some stats on our beautiful new space:
Our new neighbors will include physical fitness and/or child-centric businesses such as a preschool, Work Athletics Basketball Facility, D-BAT Baseball and Softball Academy, a personal training gym, and AllKids Urgent Care. Other neighbors include a banquet hall, the ever-popular ATL Wings, and our official company photographer, Studio 3 Images. Also, less than a half-mile away is the Mesa Grand complex housing multiple eateries, retail stores, activity locations, and more!
Our new space previously housed Stratum Laser Tag so this will be a complete build-out from floor to ceiling. The current timeframe puts us moving into our new facility in August 2022 - in time for the start of our new season. Of course, we look forward to keeping you updated along the way with progress news and photos.
A world of thanks to Sharon Meko, our founding artistic director, for being the driving force to finding us our new home. Over the last couple of years, she has been the point person visiting many facilities, attending numerous meetings with various real estate agents, and reviewing countless floorplans. Without her vision, Ballet Etudes and BE School of Dance would not exist and we are excited for her to lead us into this next chapter.
Thank you to our Board of Directors for bringing us to this moment. They kept us afloat during 2020 while simultaneously continuing to provide classes for your dancers, and with their diligent financial handling have made it possible for us to expand into our new home on Stapley Drive. They are Megan Girard, Traci King, Dr. Kent Layton, Roma Morgan, Tracey Scalzo, Stacy Smith, and Erin Walsh-Beguin.
And thank you to all of you, our families, for coming with us on this journey. You are what makes it possible for us to do what we love every day - share our passion and knowledge of dance. We hope you are excited for this new chapter of Ballet Etudes!
Dr. Richard Sagar
President, Ballet Etudes Board
We are thrilled to tell you that we are moving to a new 15,000 sq ft facility! The best part is that it's just a skip and a jump away from our current space!
